Blue Blood Metal is a unique blend of what was once a functional button into something that is now wearable art. Each piece is handcrafted into a one of a kind ring or necklace that contains a vintage button circa 1940's to present. Originally inspired by the artist's military family history, Blue Blood Metal finds inspiration in nautical, Victorian and art nouveau styles. These generational pieces invoke the past and illuminate the future. Our history lies in the transformation of a discarded piece of the past into a beautiful unique piece of jewelry with a new age edge.
Each piece is made to order, based on the unique characteristics of the button and the wearer. If you have a button, perhaps from a civil war jacket, a family members favorite dress, etc we can also make a custom piece for you to wear and hold with you forever.
